A home for ballroom in Ottawa.
NextStep DanceSport was founded to create a welcoming studio for ballroom and Latin dance — a place where beginners feel at home and experienced dancers keep growing.
Confidence through movement.
NextStep was built on a simple idea: ballroom is for everyone. Kids finding coordination, adults finding community, couples finding rhythm, competitors finding the world stage.
We're a registered Ontario business focused on quality instruction. Our coaches bring championship credentials to every group class and private lesson — and treat every student, at every level, with the same care.

Owner. Coach. Teacher.
Stephanie opened NextStep to give Ottawa a studio where anyone can learn to dance. She spends most of her week with beginners — and says first lessons are still her favourite part of the job.
